Fee Information
Appointment length
Appointments are 50 minutes. Appointments start and finish on time so it is important you arrive promptly.
Fees
$150 per 50 minute session. Joanna's fees represent a 40% reduction on the APS recommended fee of $254, in order to maintain affordability to clients. Fees are payable after each session. Health care card holders may be bulk billed (with a GP referral on a Mental Health Treatment Plan) - please discuss this with Joanna. Please note that fees are subject to increase.
Payment method
Eftpos (credit or debit cards) or cash. Bank transfer may be arranged with prior discussion with Joanna.
Cancellations
In order that cancelled sessions may be given to someone else, reasonable notice of cancellation is requested. Cancellations with less than 24 hour notice will be charged at the full fee.
Referrals
A referral from your GP or psychiatrist is required in order to obtain a rebate from Medicare. The referral is made as part of a Mental Health Treatment Plan. No referral is needed is you are claiming on your private health fund.
Medicare Rebate
Joanna is a registered Medicare provider. A rebate of $86.15 per session applies for up to 10 sessions per calendar year if you have a Mental Health Treatment Plan and referral from your GP. You should bring these documents to your first appointment.
